KNMI research programme 2003-2007 - Climate Research, Seismology, Meteorological Research

This document contains an outline and global objectives of the climate research conducted by the Climate Research and Seismology Department of KNMI, the Royal Netherlands Meteorological lnstitute. The programme will be further detailed in annual work plans. The research strategy aims to provide answers to questions from public authorities and the general public, as well as to offer a high quality contribution to international scientific research efforts. A better understanding of climate and climate change will be the main research outcome. Tuis knowledge is an instrumental part of all policy dedsions that aim to achieve sustainable development in a safe environment.
