The first results from the TROPOMI instrument on board ESA’s Sentinel 5-Precursor (S5P) satellite show global pollution in stunning clarity.

The first results from the TROPOMI instrument on board ESA’s Sentinel 5-Precursor (S5P) satellite show global pollution in stunning clarity. The unprecedented spatial resolution of 3.5 x 7 km at nadir will give the scientific community new insights in plume dynamics, emissions inventories, and air quality monitoring. Work by KNMI, DLR, and SRON was recently presented at the First Light Event held at the German Aerospace Center
