Operational lidar Algorithms for The Earth Clouds and Aerosol Radiation Explorer mission.
The main focus of the Atmospheric Products from Imager and Lidar (APRIL) project is the further development and technical implementation of the EarthCARE lidar (ATLID) and imager (MSI) processors in the EarthCARE ground segment system. This includes the single instrument retrieval algorithms and the synergistic lidar+ imager algorithm. The project will conclude in later 2017 and involves KNMI, IFt-Liepzig, and the Free Universiry of Berlin.
