The American Geophysical Union (AGU) has given Karin van der Wiel the prestigious James R. Holton Award.
This award is intended for young researchers at the beginning of their scientific career for their excellent research and important publications. Karin currently works as postdoc in the HIWAVES3 project within the department Weather and Climate Models (RDWK) at KNMI. She will receive the award in December 2017 during the AGU fall meeting.
